Adverts

I hope no-one is too bothered by the adverts. I haven't made any money from them yet and I am not sure when or if I shall, but that isn't stressing me. I am getting a lot of entertainment from them.

Today there was an advert to gifts of crystals for Mother's Day. I can't click on any links, so I don't know, but I am sure that it is a good site and I am confident that a lot of mums would enjoy something sparkly from their children.

However all I could see in my mind's eye was a stereotypical old fashioned housewife with her hair in curlers and a pinny on, thinking, 'Not another thing to dust!'

I hope I am always really enthusiastic about anything little bear does for me or gives me. Even if it is a Dr Who plastic figure. It's the thought that counts, and I think little bear is wonderful!

I enjoy the adverts

I have just spotted an advert on my blog that was for Fish and Chip Shop insurance. I am a bit baffled by that - surely it is a bit specialist to put on a waffling blog? Or perhaps it is to insure you against the Fish and Chip Shop should you find that instead of a pleasant bit of haddock you have a substandard piece of river cobbler.

I didn't approve of the site advertising that Married Women were available for no stings attached hanky panky. Apart from anything else, I would probably question exactly how married and to whom.

I haven't got any money from the adverts, I may in the future, but their main value for me has always been entertainment.

And after all the fuss of little bear's costume for the school play, I just chuckled and chuckled to see an advert for 'World Famous Pyjamas'.

Speaking of little bear, I have just nipped upstairs, taken the fire engine off his bed, pulled the covers over him and smiled at him sleeping in a spaceman fancy dress uniform over his pyjamas. It makes a change from the knight's (soft and comfy) costume.

I have the adverts on mainly for entertainment value, but where, please, did they get the idea that they should advertise asbestos removal here?

I am quite enjoying watching the adverts on my page.

However Approved Food have sent me a link to pass to a friend and when that friend orders I get a credit to my account.

Actually, I don't feel comfortable with that. I recommend Approved Food freely, because I think it will help people out. I don't think I could ever do party plan because it is like mugging friends for money.

Anyway, I am off to water the garden - darling father has been working miracles but the wind is taking all the moisture off the soil.

Staying within the rules

My first big advert is showing. I was quite disappointed that it was for just clothes. I was hoping for something eclectic. However it looked really intriguing and I really wanted to go and have a look.

But I am not allowed to click on ads on my pages.

So I went to a different browser and had a look there.

I have nothing to say about clothes except little bear is doing fine for clothes and I can't find any tops I like in the colour and length I like at a price that I like, even on my friend ebay.

At least that saves me spending money.
