Little bear actually ate most of his tea tonight. Yes, there were tantrums, hissy fits and whining, but he actually ate some of his tea.
The trouble is, I have no idea how to get him to repeat this tomorrow. Darn.
Also, I tried to sleep this morning when little bear was watching tv for about fifteen minutes. Fifteen, nerve wracking, stress making minutes. I do not plan to repeat this.

My two went through this stage too, and there are two points to remember about surviving it. One is that they are eating more than you think, and the other is that they go "through" the stage ie there is an end to it eventually when they will eat you out of house and home!! I also found that if I put the food on the table and we got on with eating ours, there was less fuss made and more eaten than if we took too much notice of what was or wasn't being eaten. It's a lot easier said than done, I do remember, and I feel for you!
AND don't beat yourself up about needing some sleep - if you know LB is safe in the room, and you are in the room with him, have a nap if you can and don't feel guilty about it! HUGS.xxxx
Joking apart - I feel dreadful about leaving little bear (in the next room, less than five yards away with the connecting door open). Of course he was safe, in my logical mind, I would never risk him. As for the food - I would prefer to take the stand of, he doesn't eat it, he goes hungry. It's just OH gets very hissy fit over it. The worst bit about it all is OH. Little bear does very well, and I am just trying to keep an eye on protein, iron and fruit/veg. It's amazing how much chocolate he manages to get access to. Thanks for the hugs - needed. WS x
I agree - we used to give them three meals and two snacks in between, and they ate it or went hungry!
Can't help with the OH - but can send more hugs!!
