Clutter Fail

I found a huge bag of pencils and pens for little bear that I had hidden in darling father's room to be and he immediately claimed them. And someone kindly gave him a box of stickle bricks, which he is enjoying so much it would almost be a sin not to get him some more - almost!

And darling father has brought in the Hawkins Bazaar catalogue and it is absolutely stuffed with lovely things for little bear.

must - stay - strong.

Stickle bricks! I remember those! They were aces.

And Hawkins Bazaar! They have a shop in Chester (but not Liverpool, strangely) and I could spend hours and muchos money in there. There are so many things that would delight Little Bear.

I had to stay very strong in Asda the other day. There were toys that were too old for LB, but were fantastic. One was a giant motorised crane with accompanying trucks, diggers and danger signs, etc. The crane is about the same height as LB. There was also a giant Tonka truck that had one of those things they use to carry cars to showrooms on. It came with accompanying cars and was long enough for LB to lie down on the top deck. Tonka toys are fantastic.

Oh yes, I forgot. We're supposed to be reducing clutter, aren't we?

Doting uncles (but not great uncles) are exempt...

As for the bottles, absolutely true. The worst culprit is the flavoured water as I keep assuming that OH takes in liquid like I do. He doesn't. He gets dehydrated unless nagged. And that is about one eighth of my kitchen, max, and it's all stuffed.

Hawkins Bazaar may have to deliver by container lorry. love your pic WS x
