Great News!

According to an article on the BBC website here, eating chocolate makes you thin.

If that were true, I should be six inches wide and three inches deep. However, perhaps I should do a little more research on this idea...

Is that all they eat though? I used to be thin, a long time ago, but I could still eat three Fry's chocolate cream bars in a day (disgusting thought now!) but I didn't eat a lot else!! I wasn't very well a lot of the time, though, and wouldn't go back there. I'd rather be larger and more healthy in my attitude to food, if you see what I mean. xx

I suspect that there is a catch somewhere... Does a chocolate orange count as one of a five a day? WS xxx

I've read through this study and noted some of the major faults on my own blog: http://blendingphysicswithfood.blogspot.com/2012/03/chocolate-makes-you-thin.html

Basically they didn't control for quantity or quality of chocolate =/

Sinead - drat and poot and darn it to heck - no excuse for stuffing myself with chocolate. If something seems too good to be true... Thanks for the heads up and linky! WS xx

You just know they are going to come out saying one square of 90% chocolate a day gives the optimum result! It definitely wont be the suitcase full of the stuff that I can get through at certain times of the month lol

Lesley - it's cruel the way that they can just dangle a treat in front of you, like unlimited chocolate, then snatch it all away... WS xxx
