A comment on my blog (now removed) has left me devastated.
I am not sure when I will next be posting again, apart from updates on fiction, because I feel absolutely shattered by it. I love blogging, and I love sharing little bear's exploits. I had hoped that this blog will in part be a lovely record of him growing up. But if I can't cope with my reaction to that comment then I don't know if it is wise for me to continue.
Hopefully I will post again soon, but I would like to say that I really appreciate all the support and hugs that have come to me from you.

I have no idea what the comment was that has caused you so much upset. Please please reconsider stopping posting. You have many people who read your blog (20 people who have signed up as follwers, which is iikely to be a small number of the real readers). You receive so many positive comments, please try not to get so knocked by one negative one. It's difficult to say mych more without knowing what was said, but I would imagine it's either someone clumsily trying to be "helpful", or else some sad person who can only feel big when they are making someone else feel bad... you are stronger than that; instead, perhaps you can feel pity for the person concerned because they have so little in their life when they compare theirs to yours that they are so jealous they have to try and stamp on what you have.
Please don't let them win. I'll really miss reading your little snippets.
Ah take no notice - some people love causing so much pain, we would all miss the exploits of everyone on yr blog, stick 2 fingers up and carry on!!! u r better than that
PLEASE don't let one comment get to you - you can change the settings so that you can moderate the posts and if you get one you don't like, just delete it quickly and think no more of it.
There are some weird folk out there, and we don't have to let them influence us!
We love you and we adore hearing about LB's expoits - keep going for us.
Good proverb/saying:
"Those that mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind".
Much love and many hugs!!
Oh Sybil, please keep blogging - I love to hear about Little Bear and, of course, Evil Cat. Like the others have said, some sad person who doesn't appreciate you. For goodness sake, if they don't like your blog, they don't need to read it, do they? Just ignore them, and think about your online pals who would miss you if you weren't on here.

Those comments are all well and good, but if as it sounds like it's someone close to WS who doesn't feel comfortable having his life and that of his family splashed over the internet, it may be that the best thing is for everyone to step back at the moment and give WS some space to make the best decision for herself, her husband and her family. I wish you luck in maing the right decision.
