Timing

Yesterday I sent in a fully functional, reasonably decent shirt to school to be dissected.  The shirt was chosen as bear utterly rejected, I was very lukewarm about it and every other stitch in the house was spoken for.

Today I am ironing and find a pair of bear's school trousers with a hole starting.  It isn't worth patching like I would with the denim so I am somewhat unimpressed.  I am unimpressed that there is a hole.  I am also unimpressed that the shirt went in that could have been used elsewhere when I had a pair of trousers now destined for Nice Mr Next Door to use for rags but would have been fine for dissecting.

That will teach me to keep on top of the ironing pile.

If I find out I shall share. Bear is not saying anything, but if all else fails I shall ring! WS xxx

RavyLesley - it goes like this...
'What did you do today?'
'Can't remember.'
'Did you play with x?'
'Can't remember.'
'Did you do any writing?'
'Probably. Can I have a chocolate bar?'
I have to use cunning questions to get anywhere lol WS xxx

Sybs I have done the whole ants thing and got myself into a right state about it too.At one stage I felt like the dirtiest and most slovenly moo on the planet. But after researching the subject I discovered that ants are actually clean insects and dont carry any disease with them and only enter houses during a brief period of the year looking for nesting material. If you kill an ant it will bring a whole lot more ants as they come looking for the missing one.Over the years I have sealed our house and learnt to put down ant traps that have bait in them that they take back to the nest and kills the Queen as a result of this fingers crossed we have been ant free for a few years now.So dont worry its annoying having ants but not potentially health harming
