Night terrors

Lesley - I did wonder about this.  Little bear has crashed into sleep and I am about to crawl off far too late, but last night I really wasn't sure he was awake the first time.

My instinct is to cuddle - I hope that is okay.  I also hope that he has a long, peaceful sleep tonight.  Thank you for the hug.

Really hope it was just me being too lenient with fizzy water.

Sybs I have heard of children who have night terrors every night and given the shock of being awoken by a terrified screaming child I bet their nerves are shot to bits as I know mine would be.As for cuddling LB you do what you feel comfortable doing.I preferred to take a less intrusive attitude as I didnt want mine associating waking in the night with attention and rewards so I used to just check on them and send them back off to snooze.I dont know if this is the right thing to do I just know it worked for me

Thank you - I don't know if I was right or not. Thankfully there has been no further events so far, so I shall have to just play it by ear.

And little bear seemed completely oblivious to the cuddles.

I really appreciate the comment - it is really, really helpful as I had no idea what to do! WS xxx
